Our use of the Subscription Service
On our websites
You are free to browse the Websites without having to provide any personal information. When you visit the Websites or register for the Subscription Service, we will ask you to enter personal information and we will also collect browsing data.
The term "personal information" or "personal data" refers to all personal data that you voluntarily submit to us that allows us to identify you, e.g., contact information, such as your name, email address, company name, address, telephone number and other information about you or your company. Personal information may also include information about transactions, both free and paid, that you make on the websites; information about you available on the internet, such as information stored on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google; or publicly available information that we obtain from service providers.
Personal information includes browsing information or payment information when such information can directly or indirectly identify an individual.

Payment information includes information we collect and process when you subscribe to the Subscription Service, including credit card numbers and billing information, using third party service providers that comply with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standard. Other than this, we do not collect any other sensitive information about you.
The term "confidential information" refers to credit or debit card numbers, personal financial account information, social security identification numbers, passport numbers, driver's license numbers or similar personal identifiers, racial origin or ethnic identity, physical or mental health information, or other information related to employment, financial or health status.
When you view content provided by us, we automatically collect information about your computer hardware and software. This information may include your IP address, browser type, domain names, internet service provider, files displayed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, clickstream data, access time, and referring Web site addresses. Datamind uses this information to provide general statistics on Web site usage. For these purposes, we link this automatically collected data with other personal data, such as name, e-mail address, address and telephone number.
Collection of information from third parties
On occasion, we may receive personal information about you from third party sources, including partners with whom we provide cobranding services or with whom we engage in joint marketing activities and from publicly available sources, such as social networking websites.
Information about children
The Websites are not directed to or designed for use by children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information about children under the age of 18. If you believe that we have collected personal information about anyone under the age of 18, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can delete it.

Occasionally, we may contact you on behalf of external partners about a particular offer that may be of interest to you. In such cases, we will not transfer your personal data to the third party.
Use of navigation information
We use Browsing Information to operate and improve the Websites and to provide you with a better experience when you interact with Datamind. We may also use Browsing Information alone or in combination with Personal Data to provide you with personalized information about Datamind. Browsing Information (e.g., IP address) is used to detect your approximate location. For example, we may use your approximate location to send you translated content or send you emails at certain times of the day based on your local time.
You can disable the collection and use of your location data from your browser, operating system or device settings.
Customer comments and testimonials
We publish customer comments and testimonials on our websites, and these may contain personal data. We obtain each customer's consent by email before publishing their name and testimonial.

We safeguard the personal information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Retention of personal data
The length of time we will maintain the information we collect about you will depend on the type of information, as described in more detail below. After that time, we will either delete or anonymously compile your information or, if that is not possible, we will store your information and isolate it from further use until it can be deleted. We retain the personal information you provide to us when we have a legitimate business need to do so; for example, when required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Where we do not have a legitimate and specific business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or compile it in an anonymous and secure way or, if this is not possible, we will store it securely and isolate it from further processing until it can be deleted. If you have opted-in to receive marketing communications from us, we will retain information about your marketing preferences for a reasonable period from the date you last expressed interest in our content or services, for example, when you opened an email or stopped using your Datamind account. We retain information from cookies and other tracking technologies for a reasonable period from the date of creation. Data collected by our customers through the Subscription Service is retained in accordance with applicable agreements with our customers.

We employ other vendors to provide services on our behalf to visitors to our websites, and customers and users of the Subscription Service, and we may need to share your information with them in order to provide you with information, products or services. Examples include: marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, supplementing the information you provide to us so that we can provide you with better services, and providing customer service or technical support. These vendors are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than these and are obligated to protect the confidentiality of your information. In all cases where we share your information with such agents, we will explicitly require the agent to acknowledge and respect our privacy policies and treatment of customer data.
If we (or our materials) are acquired by another company, whether by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or otherwise, that company will receive all of the information Datamind has collected on the Websites and the Subscription Service. In the event of such an event, you will receive an email notification or a prominent notice on our website about any changes in ownership, the uses of your personal data and the choices you may have regarding your personal data.
We reserve the right to use or disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or if we reasonably believe that the use or disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or comply with a law, court order or legal process.

You may request access to your personal information to correct, update or delete it. You may object to the processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information or request portability.

Your withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we have carried out prior to the withdrawal nor will it affect the processing of personal information carried out on legally admissible grounds, regardless of consent.
Unsubscribe from our communications
You can unsubscribe from our marketing communications by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of the emails, updating your communication preferences, or by emailing us at contact@datamind. Customers may not request to stop receiving transactional emails related to the account they have with us or the Subscription Service.
